"An improvement in some aspects"

The backgrounds were very detailed. The animation wasn't as good as the previous ones in that there wasn't nearly as much actual animation. There's actually some kind of story getting setup here, which is a huge improvement. I found the previous ones boring, to be nothing more than smooth animation that I could find in any professionally animated movie, complete with some predictable, childish humour or moral of the story - Bitey getting what he had coming.
This is leading to something more interesting, though. I always acknowledged the skill and effort in the animation in the previous ones, but those reviews got deleted because I said I didn't like the movies overall. I still think this is overrated, but it could be amazing if those animating skills were put to good use (i.e. something with a little more depth/entertaining value, not just a display of excellent animating skill).

That wasn't even the song from Dr. Mario... Animation was pretty good, I didn't find it very funny, though. The general idea of Mario calling himself a doctor with no medical background is good, but it's been done before and it's harder to laugh at an "overall joke" than smaller ones...

"I see..."

To be honest, I thought this was a joke title and that the submission would be completely different. I just had to see to find out, and I was disappointed.

There's nothing fun about generic dress-up "games" like this one, and the traced equipment looks weird on the photo of the doll. The graphics are otherwise pretty good, but this "game" has no amusing/interesting qualities to me whatsoever.

I thought the game looked interesting (being all black and white like it is with a retro appearance) when I saw it on the front page, and I wasn't disappointed. It was fun and challenging, and custom maps give it replay value. Great game overall.

Dunno what the original or whatever is. The animation wasn't that great... well, there just wasn't much animation, really. Most of it was still pictures with a few motion tweens here and there. Good technique with that, though. It was okay overall.

"Funny"

To anyone who doesn't get it, it's a parody of battle anime and English dubs. They waste the majority of the time talking, the talking is just still frames with the mouth moving, animations are recycled, attacks are just still frames with some emphasis (that's not something you see in modern anime, though) and they repeat a few times, etc.
English dubs often give characters wacky voices and the dialogue has to be fitted to the mouth animations.

The animation here obviously isn't that good, especially since it's an exaggeration of low quality anime, recycling drawings and animations way more than your average 70s-90s battle anime, but it's quite funny. Good work.

It was better than the circle/square one I just watched, but where did that 3.78 score come from? Does Newgrounds' democratic system just come down to a popularity contest?
The jokes in this were like... extremely average. The animation was terrible, but that seems to be a part of this "shapes" joke. I think the extremely newbish movies that get blammed for being godawful are funnier than this stuff...
