Ambiguous

I rather like the one that has "welcome home" on the door and the one to the right of it. The one all the way right in the same line looks off to me, though. The eyes look rather out of line. The one above it also looks a little weird to me; I'd think part of the jaw or something would be visible. Perhaps the right ear, too.

The colouring and the way you do the hair is awesome.

Neat

I like seeing art that's more than just art... though I suppose the amount of details and such as art aren't too amazing.

turtleco responds:

I guess you are right, it isn't a very complex or detailed drawing, but its a cute little cut-out for fun.

Inspirational

I don't know who all these robots are, but they sure look awesome. I immediately regretted not being a part of Robot Day when I saw this in the side banners.

Amusing in a weird way

Your dithering is quite impressive. Some parts of the picture seem a bit plain. Other parts just seem sorta rough/rushed, but I think it adds to the creepiness.

Very nice

Very well done. I just sorta don't like that white on the lower lip. Doesn't quite look like shine/glossiness to me if that's what it's meant to be.

Cool

He looks cool. The sword's design is quite sweet. The shine on the armour seems well done. Other than the lack of background, there are two things about this picture that bother me, though.
The first is his foot that's angled towards us. It just sorta looks to me like the little toe side is bigger than the big toe side, though I'm pretty sure they're the same size. I would maybe try to have the big toe's side planted more firmly rather than curved up a bit like that at the sole. It also seems that foot's heel goes farther back than the other heel, which might be kinda awkward/perhaps impossible since that leg is closer to us everywhere else.
The second is that I think his crotch might be a little low, but maybe that's just compared to my style... I personally try to have the wrist in line with the bottom of the crotch.

WildArch responds:

Yeaa! Big reviews, been a while.
But you're probably right about the feet , I thought it was okay if the heels were both at the same level of height.
You could say it's in my style too since , the proportions i'm using comes mostly from preferences while keeping tabs on what they are supposed to look like.

Awesome

Getting my eyes crossed properly was pretty tricky, but well worth it.

Tip to anyone having troubles: Hold your index finger downwards in front of you. Align it with the top of this guy's hat. Bring your index finger around 4 inches from your face. Look at your index finger and only your index finger; if your index finger is "doubling", you're not looking at it enough. Keep staring at your index finger until the blurry figure in the background looks like they're sorta glowing, then try to look at his eyes. You'll know if you did it right. If not, try again!

brettamatowski responds:

Chicka yeah! So glad a select few people can actually get it to work without a Stereoscopic Viewer to help. I guess I trained myself as a kid in order to do it easily. I suggest NOT painting while cross-eyed. Ouch.

Good

Your pixel art has quite nice technique.

I have webcomics on my website.
