[Dragonball Y Episode 1]

Not too amusing

The characters didn't really do much and you didn't make/add any backgrounds. The main song didn't seem too fitting and the movie itself seemed sorta random/hard to follow... like, the name thing was alright, but I'm not getting the goomba part.

Good

Made me smile a bit. The animation is pretty simple, but you have very nice art and animating technique. I loved the faces when Tingle shows up. I think this is a bit overrated, though. I sure wouldn't call it equal to Final Fantasy A+ (which currently has the same score).

I know what you mean. I didn't expect this to get so high a score (it came out of judgement at 3.6, then just shot up) but all animations generally go down in score after getting a lot of publicity, as I fully expect mine to.

I bet FFA+ (I think that's in my faves from many years ago) started out at 4.6+ though, well deservingly so, but it just gradually went down.

By the way, I loved Link Misses His Target (as a flash, and especially the concept behind it)

Pretty good

Quite smooth, nice cartoony feel to it. Of course, it's not incredibly amazing since there's no real background and it's all just black and white (with a bit of grey, which does help). His walking sequence was pretty awkward since you kept him on that sorta side view.

yeah... i wanted him to walk like that. he's a 2D character that lacks depth and weight in a world of B/W. i was kinda going for that "notebook doodle"look. i think it works...

[The Random Insults Collab]

Couldn't sit through it all

There was pretty much no animation. Some of the things I flipped through had a little, but it all just the same insult shit with those computer speech voices in a Clock Crew style. Not clever, no real thought put into it... just... well, as the title says, random insults. I think more tactfully planned insults would've been better since... well, applicable insults are usually the only funny ones. Hearing a bunch of swear words, "your mother" statements, and claiming a person performs particularly slutty/degrading acts is nothing new. You hear these things everywhere on the internet and in real life and it's just completely meaningless.
Just watch 10 seconds of this "animation" and then you can skip through them to look at the small amount of art. This might be hilarious to you guys, but it's boring and drawn out too long to me (maybe like how my review appears to you, but at least my criticisms and very mild insults hold some truth).

Sorta alright

I didn't know the calendar was the play button at first... I just right-clicked and chose "play". And I'm just guessing the rain is the end? You should really make it more clear.
The animation was nice, but this was pretty pointless and sorta boring.

[Zelda - Target]

Nothing special

The animation was nice and smooth, though there wasn't that much animation. The zoom on Link's face could've been done better. The angle, level of zoom, and that you used the same zoomed in picture twice was unappealing. It barely looked like he was taking aim... it was more like you just drew a picture and added black rectangles to the top and bottom for the hell of it.

Sure the animation was smooth, but you left a lot of detail out of Link's outfit and the shading was sloppy. The only really outstanding smoothness was the light trail thing you gave to Navi. Even Navi's "hovering over the target" thing was lacking since some of the frames weren't perfect circles and you just had it loop. In any case, it's super easy to make a circle and two ovals look smooth.

Didn't really find it funny at all. Even if it is a Zelda parody, I'm surprised it's rated this high. When I see something with a score over 4, I hope for something on a higher level. I'd only give this a 3.5/5, and even that's a stretch. But it was just a small project for you, so it's not like I'm trying to blame you... It's the people of Newgrounds who are messing up the scoring system.

Epilepsy warning

That song was pretty fucked up... and those fucked up animations (not the lines) sure suited it. Anyhow, the song wasn't my sort of thing. It sounded really "out of it" whereas I prefer music that's more in sync with itself. Watching lines go crazy for however long this was proved to not be too entertaining.

[Disney Nejiten Crack]

Not impressive

Nothing amazing, but better than the other reviews let on. Some of the tweens were done very well and there were some good frame by frame parts. The hands and certain pictures looked really good, but I'm guessing you traced those. I watch Naruto, but I've never heard of such a pairing. Might be amusing to people who read fanfics or whatever, but this wasn't my kinda movie.

File size!

Decent, but the file size is pretty brutal. I'm guessing it's related to the jpeg-like quality of the movie. This movie should probably be under 2 megabytes... I dunno about that Adobe Master Collection thing, but you used a shape tween for the smoke, so I'm guessing it can be used like any version of Flash... in which case the file size shouldn't get so big...
Mouths could've used some movement when they were talking. I think the guy's hand was backwards when he was feeding TiredMan the pill.
Nice Burnt Face Man reference.
