Horrid quality

The quality is as if you were recording a GBA screen with a video camera. I briefly caught in the credits that you apparently made this in Pivot or something. If possible, you should actually use Flash to make Flash animations... you could probably do a better job, keep the original quality, and reduce the file size.
This was too short and pretty pointless overall. They just sorta decided to fight out of nowhere and then he killed the other guy in one hit.
For sprite movies, you might also want to consider checking out Swish Max if not Flash... I dunno if that's free or whatever, but KNanakase uses that and he makes incredible sprite movies.

I know quality is bad but i just want to put something out for fun but ty for tips

Not bad

The clothes and hat could've been flapping while he was flying (like, maybe a 3 frame loop). Backgrounds could use better detail. You could've put yellow/white painted lines on the road to make the movement and the fact that it's a road more clear. There could maybe be some clouds in the sky.
Everything could use some shading, but make sure you know what you're doing before adding shading, 'cause sometimes people ruin their drawings with poor shading and they'd be better off without it.

Pretty decent overall, but it could use more effort.

KageTheLog responds:

Yeah I guess I was just too lazy. But thanks for the really good advices! I really appreciate it.

Out of sync

I highly recommend fixing the sync issue ASAP. Open the file in Flash, go to the frame you have the music on, open the Properties panel, and set "Sync" to "Stream". This will make the audio pause when you pause the movie and it will keep it in sync with the movie. It will also allow you to listen to the song from any point when you're testing the movie in Flash (like, when you just press the Enter key without publishing the SWF file).
The text was fairly interesting, but it could've used some more pictures. I dunno, it's hard to say since it went so out of sync.

I also recommend crediting the song in your description or in the submission information. The latter is better since it promotes the musician better and links to an Amazon search for the band name, so you can sorta use that as an excuse if you ever get in trouble for using the song without permission.

Syreas responds:

Thank you so very much for your help! That made it a lot easier to edit. I appreciate it a lot and I hope you enjoy the improved version ^^

Could be better

The animation wasn't exactly top-notch. There were quite a few still frames and recycled movie clips, it seemed. The Monsters Inc. one had pretty good detail, though it was just a few tweens.
It was sorta funny, though I haven't seen most of the movies in here. I liked the use of that excited Link meme thing (forgot the name) and the ghost's rhymes about mundane activities. The Advent Children thing was pretty alright, too.
As for the voice acting, if you aren't confident about doing convincing voices, I'd recommend checking out the Voice Acting Club. If not to get someone else to do voices, you could get some tips and critique there.

Mechabloby responds:

I'm glad you liked certain parts of our collab. I thought the voice acting was rather okay overall in everyone's parts (although, I admit myself that my yell at the end of the Twilight part was lame, and I joke about with it stating that at the end of the part).

Thanks for your review!

Another Lock Day, another flood of... wait

The humour was decent and all the points were very true. I'd say it would be nice if every newb could see this, but that would mean making them sit through some generic Lock crap as far as the visuals and audio go. A good idea for a movie, a good script, and good use of screenshots. It's a shame this is a Lock movie.

Lock Day's turn out was about as good as what the shitty krew does daily. At least you guys usually put a little more effort in, but it's still the same old Lock/Clock/Glock/Sock/Block/Shock/Shl ock shit with basically no effort in animation, annoying machine voices instead of real voice acting, and the constant need to remind people "Hey, we used to pump garbage like this out on a very regular basis and we just wanted to remind everyone that Newgrounds remembers and acknowledges our name due to our INYOURPORTAL edge that any random group of idiots could copy (and they did!)."
I dunno how much you modified from your original, but the thought of it being any worse is a real put off. I'm guessing it's a clone, though. You didn't even change "Macromedia Flash" to "Adobe Flash".

JujubeLock responds:

The difference was the added flashing penis shots. "A good idea for a movie, a good script, and good use of screenshots. It's a shame this is a Lock movie." Someone sounds like a bigot.

Pretty funny

Rather cheap animation and the mouths looked like they were just looping (perhaps without any specific timing). Well, this is ancient. The jokes were good, but I don't feel the immediate need to see all the future episodes.

Geoweasel responds:

Yeah, they were just loops, to save time. Not that these took much time back then, haha. Thank you for the honest review, I really appreciate it.

Awkward

The angle of the hand and the way it was raised looked rather awkward. The person's head would have to be far to the right of the screen for this to make sense. Actually, I think this hand's pose is impossible. If possible, you should try to get a photo of your hand with a cellphone like that and try to copy it.
I think it would seem more natural if we had a first person view... like, no one would hold a phone in front of them like this.

Pretty decent details on the phone and background.

For future movies/art, I'd recommend considering and/or testing to see if something you're drawing is humanly possible and/or natural.

NGReviewEater responds:

Hmmm I see what you mean about that. I'll keep that in mind for future animations. Thanks for the review though!

It's actually more of a practice of tweening and such, but still you have a valid point.

Alternative

If it does get blammed, click on the "My Account" button at the top-right part of the screen. Then scroll down to "DUMPING GROUNDS" and click the "Free File Upload!" link. You can upload your file there, just you'd probably need to log in to get the link (unless you already have the link on the computer at your goodbye party or whatever; then just go to the link without logging in).

As for an actual review, the way you had the lines drawn was kinda interesting, but this was pretty boring for an uninvolved person like me. You only drew one picture, after all.

cool74 responds:

I understand what you mean, see when i uploaded it, it wasn't done i was just uploading so i would have a space in which i could upload the revised submission.

Decent

The cherry blossom petals at the beginning were pretty cool. The contrast of the red on black was a little hard on the eyes at first.

I think your side view heads need work (seems to be a surprisingly common problem with people doing anime/manga style). You can do it however you want, of course, but I recommend bringing the ears closer to the center. Having it so far back makes it look like the character has a really big jaw or something and generally doesn't look very attractive/cute, and it seems like your style is meant to be more cute. What I do is have the part of the ear that's attached to the head be very close to the horizontal center (on a side view). The side view eyes looked a lot like front view eyes; remember that they shouldn't appear as wide on a side view (the eye itself, not just the pupil/iris/whatever; I think you did that part alright).
Look for side views in professional anime/manga work that you think looks good and compare it to your own.

The part with the eyes scribbled over was pretty sweet, as well as the coloured part that followed after. Anatomy seemed pretty good overall, though there were some parts I had a problem with.

I didn't really like the vocals for the song... I dunno if that was done by you/someone you know or not, though, so I won't get into details on that.

exninja123 responds:

thanks for the critique!
yeah, the vocals were kinda bleh....

Cool

You have sweet style and excellent use of blurs and shaking the screen. Of course, this is very short and has no sound effects or backgrounds, so I'm not giving it an amazing score. The green stuff could have maybe disappeared more smoothly, but I kinda like the roughness of it. I dunno if you'd wanna try a faster frame rate maybe?

XDarknessX2 responds:

Yeah like i said it was just a quick test so the next one i make will have some sound and ill add a background.

I have webcomics on my website.
