Ehh...

It looked OK, but there were some major problems.
For one, you stopped colouring the dragons after the reached a certain point on the screen? Why did they just go transparent like that?
For two, it looks as though you just drew one dragon doing its little motion and put it all into one Movie Clip symbol. You then just copied and pasted it around... Changing backgrounds and copy/pasting a dragon doesn't make a very impressive Flash movie.

heather-lanham responds:

that's right. it's a test, so I didn't put a lot of work into it. but I did want the idea of the dragons going transparent so that underlying patterns could be seen through them.
thank you for the input. obviously v.2 will have more work put into it, and it will be my finished version. this was just to get my idea out and see what all I could do to improve apon it before makeing a commitment.

Meh

I didn't like this very much, and it had a few typos (coming spelt as 'comming', bicycle spelt as 'bycicle'). Overall not bad, just not well suited for my tastes.

S-E5000 responds:

well sorry but evryone makes mistakes and im glad that its not bad

Was OK

Pretty good for graphics and humour, I know it's a "short", but still, that was short.

flashTEK responds:

lol your damn right its short

lol

That was kinda pointless, and had no preloader, but it was entertaining and well made.

illustrioushotel responds:

Hmm..odd, it has a pre-loader but the file is not that big so if you're on a fast connection it loads practically immediately, on a slower connection you would get more of an opportunity to see the loader, but it does have a pre-loader.

Thanks for your support.

Wow... very nice

That was a really good Flash movie, though I haven't seen the other episodes and stuff. When I was done watching, I almost forgot about the two things that bothered the Hell out of me.

1. Please put a preloader bar on this! It's such a large file, and all I had to keep me going was the "Loading" text.

2. The music went really good and everything, but you might want to consider compressing it a bit. I mean, 11 MB!? Are you mad!? This probably could have been 2-4 MB if you used .wav sound files. Using WinAmp and RC-MP3 Converter, you can change MP3's to .wav files, and the sound quality isn't changed much.

The loading process was brutal because of the large file size and no preloader bar, but the movie itself was excellent!

Glad you liked the movie. As for your constructive criticism...

1. If I knew how to make a proloader bar, I would put one in the proloader screen. Since I don't, that's about the best I can do currently.

2. In another review response, I listed why is was so big. The music files are all in wav format and are at 11025 bit rate. Since there's 105 wav files in this movie, I think I managed it pretty well with compression. Oh, and all the sound effects are in wav format, as well.

I have webcomics on my website.
