Brilliant
Quite brilliant, but I must disagree with your and a lot of other peoples' thoughts about sprite movies. Many people do make generic shit movies, which you made fun of (and you did a very good job on that). But consider this: when I make sprite movies, I get sprite sheets, so I have to put the sprites in individual images, make the background transparent, and upload them to Flash before I can use them at all. That doesn't take an incredible amount of effort, but it sure is tedious and it takes a lot of time.
So let's go beyond that part... It still takes effort to come up with jokes, storyline, and whatever else. Sprite movies are good for people who can't (or don't feel like) actually drawing out the images. It gives the less artistic people a chance at making a decent movie. Many people do all that poorly of course (as you demonstrated); Mario vs. Sonic, Naruto vs. Sasuke, and whatever else DBZ style Flash movies. That gets annoying fast as it is very unoriginal. But you have to remember the good, original sprite movies like 8-bit D&D.
And finally, consider that some people actually create their own sprites. Lots of people modify the sprites so they can use the character in positions they had never been seen before in. Furthermore, I'm creating an RPG in Flash and I actually have created all of my sprites from scratch! They aren't modifications of other sprites, I didn't use other sprites for reference, they're all 100% original.
In conclusion, I don't think it's fair to brand ALL sprite movies/games unoriginal. There are some exceptions.
Once again, great movie.
